The Maury County Community Band will provide wonderful music beginning at 6:30pm featuring many familiar songs as well as a few that you might not have heard.  The band's music will include patriotic selections, classic marches, and classical pieces.  You are sure to hear something that interests you from the Maury County Community Band.

The band was formed in 1986 as part of the "Homecoming '86" festivities.  The band has been going strong since.  Each week, volunteer musicians gather from 7-9pm at the E.A. Cox Middle School bandroom in Columbia to rehearse.  There are currently about 40 active members.  There are no dues or requirements to be in the MCCB - except having a love for music.  If you play a band instrument - no matter how many years it's been since the last time you played - and are interested in participating with the MCCB, email the band for more information.  They would love to see you at rehearsal!
